I can't believe it's not readily available, I am sure the members of the NBA alone will make the manufacturer a fortune. However, I read nothing about it. Does anyone know anything about a mail birth control pill, even one that is not yet approved for such use by the FDA?
When will the male birth control pill be available?

There is another problem with a MALE birth control pill, and that is getting the FEMALE to BELIEVE that the man has taken it. Since there is no physical proof that he has or not taken the pill.
Unfortunately ladies are notoriously skeptical of ANYTHING that comes out of a mans mouth. This is mainly due to some men being "somewhat frugal with the truth" or committing "terminological inexactitudes".
This has made it somewhat difficult for the guys who are genuinely telling the truth.
The ladies have "tarred us all with the same brush".
One guy tells a lie, so we ALL tell lies. We all KNOW it's not fair, but that's life folks.

That's a bit harsh Silver Tongue. We all don't think that way. men are exactly the same way. They will also question if we took our birth control pills each day. They need to trust us, same as we ladies needing to trust you.

It was not meant to be harsh in any way Sapphire, indeed, I was simply stating that it's the fault of SOME men, that SOME women don't trust us. Likewise, as you so rightly said, it's the fault of SOME women, that SOME men don't trust you.
Honestly it was not meant as a dig at women, or anyone else for that matter.

I can relate to what has been posted above. I would like to have a male birth control method, other than a condom, or permanent surgery, that I could use. I understand I woman would be wise to be skeptical about a man taking his birth control pill, she will still need to do what she needs to do to be safe and feel secure. I would like the option of taking a pill myself, as I want to be safe and secure as well.

Remember this fact. Granted that pills are supposed to be one of the best controls against pregnancy. There are on rare
occasions when a woman became pregnant when taking birth control pills. Guys still need to protect themselves as well.Posted 3 years ago # -
Let me add my 2 cents. I agree, there should also be a birth control pill for men. Perhaps it would make it safer if both
parties took pills.Posted 3 years ago # -
The people I feel really sorry for are the guys who went through the pain of a vasectomy, thinking that would solve their problems regarding unwanted pregnancies, only to have AIDS come along and put the kibosh on the whole scene. Now THAT'S a kicker.
