Anyone have any hints and ideas on how to help my wife with her female libido problems? We could be so much happier if she were to enjoy intimate moments more.

I think communication with your partner is the key to enjoying better sex and to fix female libido problems.
This shouldn't be surprising, yet it is probably the most difficult part about being intimate with a partner. Many remain quietly dissatisfied, going so far as faking sexual satisfaction.
You cannot expect your partner to know what feels good without as much as a cue, especially if you have never expressed any sort of dissatisfaction before.
Maybe you should consider working less :-)

I agree. Communication it the key to any good relationship.
You need to sit down and have a conversation with your wife. Find out what she likes and dislikes. Maybe plan a weekend away for both of you.Posted 3 years ago # -
Come on folks SAY something. don't just come in look around, and scarper, SAY something. You don't have to do a rewrite of War and Peace, or the just a few lines will do. What do the Ladies think about my suggestions. Come on now, speak up. We don't bite ... much he he he
It doesn't hurt honest, and it's free, let's face it folks, how many things can you do for free these days. So let us know what you think. Do you agree with what has been said ?. Do you disagree with what has been said ?.
Ladies does your husband, partner, significant other, do any of the things that have been suggested ?. Would you LIKE him/her to do them ?. Have you suggested that he/she does them ?. What was his/her reaction ?. If he/she did it, what was YOUR reaction to your treatment ?.
Are we saying the right things here ?. Or are we totally on the wrong track ?. PLEASE let us know

Ok, it has been pointed out to me that repeating the same post in each thread, was a tad monotonous. In hindsight, I have to agree. However, in my defense, I was merely attempting to elicit some response from other visitors.
I was not trying to be a smart ass, or to be insulting, I was not trying to offend anyone, there was no ulterior motive behind it. I simply wanted to ensure that everybody saw it, no matter which section they went to, so that everybody had the opportunity to respond.
This will be the only incidence of this post, I am not going to repeat it in each section again.
Sincere apologies to anybody who has been offended, I assure you that absolutely NO offense is, was, or ever will be intended.

Only those who are idealistic and have high standards when it comes to relationships are the ones who believe that there really is a perfect guy for every woman. Perfect relationships only exist in fairy tales, and they rarely happen in the real world.
In any romantic relationship, it is almost quite natural to have one or two things uncommon between two people, for these add to the effort of adapting to each other's personalities.

To the guys viewing this, in the hope of a few pointers, here are a few to be going on with, plus an invitation to the ladies to include their two cents worth too.
#1 Do NOT assume that because you take the Lady out, that she is going to "Put out", I believe that is the expression used. The Lady has the right to say no, and they frequently do. Just take it and accept it guys.
#2. If the Lady invites you in for a "night cap", she STILL has the right to say NO, and here again they frequently do. Once again just take it and accept it guys.
#3. Even if the Lady invites you into her bedroom, she STILL has the right to say NO, and while the incidence of them saying NO, is reduced, they STILL have that right. So once again just take it and accept it guys.
#4 Now if the Lady is agreeable to your "advances", here are a few tips, offer her a sensuous massage, sensuous being the operative word here, this is NOT, repeat NOT, going to be a quick rub down in the HOPE of getting her turned on FAST, in the vast majority of cases m this simply DOES NOT WORK, and you'll find yourself out on your ear in nothing flat.
Take your time with pleasing your Lady. You would want the Lady to take HER time pleasing YOU, so she has the right to expect the same.
Also to NOT, repeat do NOT, attack her as if you are kneading a loaf of bread, she is delicate, treat her as if she was made of the finest porcelain and liable to break at any moment, be GENTLE with her. If she wants a HARDER massage, LET HER TELL YOU.
If the Lady wants you to take her out, nine time out of ten, this does NOT mean that she is looking forward to an evening at the Drag Strip watching Drag Cars roaring down the track. Neither does it mean that she is looking forward to going to the match, while it is true that SOME ladies enjoy football as much as guys do, generally speaking when they want to go "OUT", they are wanting to do to a club, NO, not a STRIP club. I've met guys who actually thought that a lady would LIKE to go to a strip club.
Ok so you've taken the Lady out for the evening, she has enjoyed herself, she has invited you in for the "nightcap", she has invited you into her bedroom, and she is inviting you to "go further". What do you do ?.
Well to begin with, you DO NOT start groping about blindly, take her lead, if she likes you doing something, keep doing it, if she doesn't, then STOP doing it. MOST importantly ASK her what she DOES like. After all, how in blazes are you going to discover the answer, if you don't ask the question.
Regarding the massage, there are certain areas, that are "EXTRA SENSITIVE" to the Lady, these are commonly known as the "Erogenous Zones", these CAN, note CAN, not WILL, stimulate the Lady's libido, and "Turn her on". Please note that just because YOU get turned on quickly, that the Lady is going to be the same. Some Ladies are "Slow Burners" and need more coaxing than others. Also VERY FEW Ladies enjoy being "PAWED".
There is absolutely NO shame in letting the Lady SHOW YOU what she likes, indeed nine times out of ten the Lady will be more responsive to you, and be far better pleased with your performance. The reason for this is that you are doing what pleases HER.

OK now for the Ladies who are watching this hoping for a few tips on pleasing their guys.
#1. Generally speaking guys are not robots, we don't respond well to being given "ORDERS". There are a few exceptions to this rule of course, but generally speaking, like you, we like to be seduced too.
Granted, a lot of guys tend to think with a part of their anatomy that is singularly unsuitable for the purpose, This does NOT mean that they can be turned on like a light switch, we like to be seduced too.
TALK to your husband/partner/significant other, find out what turns him on. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST #1 PRIORITY ESSENTIAL. You ABSOLUTELY MUST do this with a completely OPEN MIND. No preconceptions of what is or is not acceptable behavior, if it is agreeable to you then FANTASTIC, if it is not, then maybe you can try a compromise. BUT DEFINITELY NO NAME CALLING, NO THREATS, NO ACCUSATIONS, this will DEFINITELY NOT HELP the situation.
Even if your guy asks you to try something that you've never done before, TELL HIM that you haven't done it before, don't make out that you have, only to have to abort half way through, because you feel you cant do it. Give the guy the opportunity to lead you, to guide you, to help you, most guys will be only to pleased to help you turn them on.
If it doesn't work out the first time, don't be afraid to try again, if you got scared, you might be more agreeable this time, at least you know what is coming the second time around. Try making a game out of it, if that helps to break the tension.
This goes for BOTH PARTIES. DON'T BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT

Further to my previous post.
No matter what has occurred during the day, the bedroom should be a haven of tranquility, there is a VERY important credo that my partner and I live by. "NEVER go to bed on an argument". What ever your differences of opinion have been during the day, leave them OUTSIDE the bedroom. Either resolve them, (this is by far the best arrangement) or mutually decide to leave them alone until morning, if you choose this option, then LEAVE THEM ALONE, do NOT, repeat DO NOT, bring them up again until you wake up in the morning, and NO ladies this does NOT mean waking your partner up at 12:01 AM and starting the argument all over again. This kind of action is NOT designed to have an amicable resolution to the argument. IF indeed it has a resolution at all.
The best way to resolve an argument amicably is to wait until BOTH parties are fully awake, and able to sit down and talk about it rationally, rather than having a screaming match. And Ladies not getting things ALL your own way does NOT mean that you have lost the argument. Sometimes it is best to come to a compromise with your partner. Meet him/her half way so-to-speak.
Another word to the wise here, Browbeating your partner into submission is NOT conducive to having a happy partner in ANY relationship, this is equally true for BOTH partners.
The wise old phrase "You catch far more flies with honey than vinegar" has more than a ring of truth behind it. You tend to achieve your desires far more easily with kindness than sourness.
Give it a try sometime you MIGHT be surprised at your partners reaction.
